More Favorite Horror Movies continued......

What the hell was I thinking?

Totally lost my mind about more great horror movies of my past that I enjoyed.

Here's more of my groovy list:

Hellraiser: How in the world did I forget about Pinhead and the Cenobites?  Fools went nuts over
The "Real" O.G.'s
this movie! Guys had Pinhead shirts in high school (and I know some of you still have it) and remember teachers raising eyebrows at a really gross looking guy whose face is covered in pins. Pinhead was not only the coolest but really you could not get away from at all. Kirstie outwitted him with the box. This movie have a different element of exploring your deepest desires and pain.. Unraveling a secret  and the spookiness up-stair attic the infamous puzzle box intertwines with her life as well.

"We love to explore you flesh!"

Hellraiser 2: Pinhead and the badass Cenobites following Kirstie in the much awaited sequel.  This time Julia (evil stepmother) is back from the dead. Kirstie longs to find her father in Hell yeah she found something alright that cheating murdering heffa Julia who hated her so much and the forbidden affair with Uncle Frank "Come to Daddy" pervert--PUKE. What a perfect place for Hell to unleash at a psychiatric ward. I heard the costuming is inspired by the BDS&M world...GOOD JOB!

Phantasm: Booooooooooooyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!  Never forget the Tall Man!

Phantasm 2: Gore factor is decent and those "Oh Sh*t" moments while battling the Tall Man. The silver obs gosh love them. It lagged some in the plotline but remained focused on why the Tall Man did his job of making the dead--deader and crazy.

Cat People (1982):   In the remake Natasha Kiniski John Heard and Malcolm McDowell (still have a crush on his old behind) are the sexy and dangerous Cat People.  Cursed for generation; when sexually aroused and doing the horizontal hokey-pokey turning into panthers and kill their victims. The only catch for them not to change and murder? Incest!!  Irena's innocence & impending virginity make the movie worthwhile and falling in love with John Heard. Home Alone dad was pretty obsessed with her, had some pretty good kinky elements though watched in high school; the sexual content blew my innocent little mind. Hahaha but I handled it very well.
Also the beautiful and talented late Ruby Dee played Paul's "caregiver" knowing the secret..She friggin rocked also.
*Note will watch the original Cat People soon*

Lost Boys: My daughter's all time favorite and still recite the lines. And the famous one:

"One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach all the damn vampires."

Grandpa was off the chain!! Pretty much something I would say living in a town of vampires and have to murq them in my house, defending my family. Still laugh when the little boy changes and bust out of the mattress.

DEATH BY STEREO!!

Army of Darkness: The LONG awaited sequel to EV 1 & 2. The budget was a bit better and Bruce Campbell looking crazy hawt but that was the funniest movie ever. Still have those jumpy moments...
Who cannot forget Ash's dialog? "This here is my BOOM STICK....." Off tha chain!!

People Under the Stairs: I call this Twin Peaks reverb. Funny, odd, psychotic and terribly disturbing. Everett McGill is tha shit in this movie which another linking...

Silver bullet: Remember when Everett McGill (wolf form) almost got Corey Haim on the bridge? Muthafugger scared the hell out of me!  The movie is off the chain!! The story still gets my heartstrings when the older sister is narrating about her brother his relationship to his alcoholic in and out of trouble uncle (Gary Busey before crazy) and that preacher werewolf terrorizing the town.  One of Stephen King's better movie.

Stephen King's IT: Pennywise did not show no love up in Derry for shit!  Thanks SK for furthering my fear of clowns, old faucet sinks and balloons. ABC did a good job of airing the three part movie back in the 90's. I read the book in 7th grade and my stupid self one night had to get the clothes off the clothesline. So darn dark and spooky that night, thought IT was hiding in the chicken coops.
"They all float down here Richie, they all float.

Dreamcatcher: One thing I cannot handle is eel like aliens going up people's asses, worse than anal probing. Thomas Jane rocked so did Timothy Olyphant--hahaha I do the finger thing when trying to find the location. Brody (Jason Lee) got jacked up in the bathroom and WTF is with Morgan Freeman's hair? A black J. Jonah Jameson jacked up on military juice.

Pumpkinhead: Lance is crazy in this movie resurrecting ol Pumkinhead and those kids deserved to DIE...lol

Near Dark: Another brilliant vampire movie without being stupid. Lance of course rocked it!

Candyman: Tony Todd is the scariest ghost from slavery's past. Slashin' up all kinds of folks and bees will never look the same to me.

Tales from the Hood: Again do not F with dolls that have a really horrible slavery past. I'm sorry but slave dolls are the scariest of the bunch. I asked my daughter when it comes down to Annabelle and the slave dolls on TFTH she said: "Annabelle does not bother me but the slave dolls is where I run and pray to God." Good scary tales told by Clarence Williams III (Mod Squad) in a funeral home those fools finally found the "shit" alright....in HELL! Wings Hauser tripped me out taking a leak on the slain politician's grave. Giving the fact spinning society problems within the black communities with a good amount of horror. Seriously this was one great horror movie in black film & entertainment.

Child's Play: Dolls and voodoo are a deadly combination (see above) when terrorizing and murdering people. Poor Andy--Good Guy doll is really a murderer. And Chris Sarandon (Fright Night) had to fight his plastic butt.  Many sequels and the last movie with Brad Dourif's daughter fighting Chucky and the badass ending..And what a surprising ending too!

Halloween is approaching us and hooking the costume up I hope you enjoyed the list of horror movies I totally enjoy and watch.
