Didya Miss Me?

The meaning March Madness do NOT PLAY!

Mid-term exams
WORK...WORK ..gosh do I have to go in this evening to WORK?
Laundry, kids, homework, English papers, bills, bills, car messing up.
Talk about not giving a sista a break...Or did I?

Kicking off my birthday and Spring Break, visited the beautiful, romantic and nice city of:

That's right, KountrySoulGirl spent four wonderful days in the City.  Omigosh, how do I start?

The wonderful hostel Adelaide is perfect for ALL walking trips to Union Square, Chinatown, Nob Hill and so on..  Now I thought my country ass was prepared for this walking (since I walk fast) hell naw! Those fuckin hills!! Glad my ass is in good shape and petite cuz to be honest wouldn't made it if I ate consistently the Southern delicacy of FRIED EVERYTHING!  I was so impressed with the clean city but all places have a darkside...

TENDERFUCKINLOIN DISTRICT or should I say District 9!! LMAO!!

Okay, not particularly but I did see alot of scary prawns bums.
Lil brave thing that I am walked through the district and guess what? Not too bad during the day but another story at night. But the best thing about it is a small neighborhood called Little Saigon and the friggin wonderful thing about visiting this particular district?

This place:

PHO LIFE!

BAM!

Big time Pho fan for a year and Pho in Texas is great but this shit right here cuz, YO like A-MAZIN', MAD BANG hahaha you get the picture.  Meat so tender, started crying at the table, eyes got so big looking at the hot, steaming bowl couldn't finish it. So use to seeing people using forks back home because nobody didn't take the time to use chopsticks and/or intimated. And yes we have the typical pretentious asshats who are showing off their "chopstick skills." But here? Blown away! Made me look sub-par and everyone elegant and second nature. ffuuucckkkk as I muttered under my breath.  Hope to Baby Jesus one day a pretentious asshat from Texas get clown'd and schooled here because NOBODY doesn't play when giant bowl of Pho at TT.  I bet they get all stupid asking for "where's the bean sprouts?"  Baby, this DISH RIGHT HERE doesn't need sprouts...that's how good it is.

Went crazy in Chinatown and Japantown. Daiso I LOVE YOU, seriously I LOVE THE HELL OUT OF YOU! The only place where I will spend  ALL my money. Two carts full of stuff for the kids, the house, my friend and myself. Of course I got something for dad and grandma, shoot can't forget them.  Tragic news, lost my umbrella after class :( and guess? from Daiso.
After shopping for a bikini BAM! CHINATOWN!
YESS!!! Sushi on a Boat.

Feel the history of Chinatown, badassss!!

Almost pissed on myself walking around the block and seeing Target on THREE damn floors and Ross too!

This city is very beautiful and couldn't get enough time to explore but hit the main spots. Finally got to Haight-Ashbury (my home) lost for four hours but took in more sites and much walking.

Grand finale: seeing this scary movie shit happening right in front of my eyes.

 THE DANG FOG
RUNNN!!!!
Living here in a small town of East Texas, we see fog in the early morning clears around 7 am, this mofo comes whenever it feels like it. At 1:38 p.m. fog wanna creep like a pimp with a smooth limp over the bridge onto Alcatraz. Temperature drops like a pimp slap with love...okay that's a very poor visual description but do get the idea that a jacket is a must when visiting. I think from seeing pimps during my trip Huggy Bear'd into the post.

And visited--actually stuck my head through the door, the oldest gay bar in San Francisco something that everyone should do. Friendly guys having drinks, so adorable and they said Hi to me (giggles)  Despite my fun, seen the finest of the finest famous bums in SF.  So when ya visiting there in the future, please do not and urge you DO NOT give them money. Seen the same two in four days off Geary St. with nice 3.00 cups jingling, one had a expensive sandwich and changed clothes.  Not be harsh and do empathize but I've seen people during my stay hitting the streets before 7 am, hustling, cleaning their block and the OTHER blocks around them preparing haul off to recycle centers.  Personally, sold candles and collected cans, metal and other stuff and on the country roads on Saturday mornings watching out for snakes and feral hogs. Took them to the recycling center and out of a job for almost a year!  Just saying when you need money to survive, you'll do anything (legal legit hustle) during job hunting process. And ended up with a full-time and part-time job in 2012.  There's no excuses...

Welp, my creativity flowed a bit, somehow the job I'm at is sucking my soul dry not to worry, think happy thoughts and do the job.  This trip was well worth it, couldn't be happier and amazed at this little city bursting with diversity and culture. Lawd Jesus and the men! Good looking, nice and come up to you friendly and chat. Nooo silly not gay men, straight men!!  Let me say it again, STRAIGHT MEN live in San Francisco.  Dispelling the long time stereotype that only gay men parade around and live only in SF. I will tell you this: Gay men & women in large numbers live in MY area (GASP!!!)  Oh the irony......

See you soon my new found place, don't worry KountrySoulGirl will be back :)

GAME OF THRONES SEASON 4 April 6th.

My reaction to "Red Wedding" don't wanna talk about.
RIP Robb Stark with your sexy beautiful self.

A cosmic change (small) in this college town.

Last Saturday was okay..OMIGOSH!! You gotta be shittin' me!!!!  Meander out for a couple of hours to the wine bar, place was packed.  A good band was playing also doing a live recording. So sitting there enjoying my glass of merlot and good music. Off to a dance hall which I didn't make it out the car because I heard some crappy band playing a old 70's song, turn the page.

Before I went back home, hitting another popular spot with tacos and nightly drink specials. I tried the
That's really cough syrup.
Trashcan punch.  A punch alright, punch of blahhh bitter face of puke. My mouth died from the second sip though $2.00 I couldn't take the pain.  Reminded of how your mother chased you around and MAKE you take the nasty cough syrup. With that horrible experience of a shameful concoction leaving the whole drink on the table, proceed to leave until a guy asked me what was I doing.  This is where the cosmic change happened.  He asked me to hang out with his group of friends!! WHAT??? LOL..

Interesting that anywhere I go in travels especially to metro cities its the norm but around here?? You gotta be shitting me!!!! Almost had a acute coronary attack.  While slowly suffering with the garbage drink, he was checking me out hanging out with his friends.  So decided to head off to a local sport/dive bar or hole in the wall as I call it ( raggedy chairs, wobbly pool tables, odd lighting) to hang out.  Slightly awkward because he asked me where do I think he's from. Ummm here? No he said guess again, Ummm Mexico?? Yeah!! he exclaimed.

VIVA MEXICO!!

I'm very excited that you're born in Mexico and raised here in Deep East Texas and that wasn't on my mind at the time of meeting you. Totally understand the conversation opener, but you could have used something a bit better than that. *insert sarcasm*

After playing Crystal Castles's Empathy, watching a beer bottle go SPLAT on the floor and a nice round of pool by his friends it was time to jet back home. He breaks out with a pen and writes his name in my palm and told me to find him on Facebook.

I do not find people on Facebook on the first meet much less get excited about the wonders of social media.  Who adds people on their FB when hanging out for an hour? Not me, to be frank not my style either. What happened to here's my number? Oh I forgot its called being lazy.  And I'm not desperately seeking ghost friends to fill to a collection on FB #'s either.

Despite the cosmic change, I still had a nice time meeting new people. It's still a sucky town tho.

And I need to find a microwave to warm up my sandwich gosh I'm starving!!

!!!!2014!!!!! Haven't forgot about ya'll!

I know, I know way too long!!! The month is almost over!!

Okay quick run down:

  • Had fun on New Years Eve
  • Class resumed
  • Working out
  • Plans on quiting smoking
  • Having a bit more fun (FINALLY MEETING KICK ASS COOL PEOPLE)
  • Found a goiter on my neck...:(
  • This town is still weird

One of the bullets you've read said "Found a goiter on my neck."  Went to the dr. the other day and a must needed ultrasound on the goiter to see if cancerous or not.  I have hyperthyroidism. Don't worry its not contagious but hereditary. But my health is very import on the list which knocked a bunch of things down the line. I am worried but not too much because I remain positive.

I've noticed something "odd" once of month but dismissed it as hormonal or tonsils aggravated. The children and I went hiking last weekend, my son pointed out something is wrong with my throat, looked and geez its huge!  Great! So basically I had this on my mind last week. Went into a slight sad moment but perked back up. I can't feel sorry for myself, its life and shit happens to the best of people.

Which in this case, holding a poot in through class sitting next to a cute guy. And my Tic-Tacs disappeared before and *magically* reappearing.

Until people, make sure you get your checkup, follow through because your health is IMPORTANT!! Eat a balanced diet, exercise, enjoy whatever fun you can and make sure you're A+ coming into class when sitting next to a cute guy.

I just made that..

Peace & Blessings!!

I found a new home: The Liberty Bell Bar

Found my place:  http://libertybellbar.com

My second time was last night with a friend (ex-classmate) with dinner. Love the atmosphere. Not big on
jazz but they played 80's & 90's music.

The first visit, I was surprised at the quality of the place and drinks. Didn't feel "old" or out of my element.  Had a nice chat with a guy at the bar also bought me a drink.. Hehehe he went on about one of the ladies who work with me in the Paint Dept. in how cute she is... She always get hit on, bless her heart! And its old weird creepy dudes too.
Then I hit the "Shack" for some dancing which is a big assed disappointment. Why? The DJ sucked and hearing "Big Booty B*tches" (sped off like Speedy Gonzalez ) my cue to go home.  What is up with this hip-hop music culture? And the dancing? Like to have puked at the gyrating men and women looking like cracked out flopping fish out of water.

They are having 80's night next month crossing my fingers of an off day. :)

I shall leave you with David Bowie. My son memorized all of David's lines and songs in the Labyrinth, too cute!!!

Hitting up on this small venue tomorrow night.

Things been kinda rough lately but getting a bit better.

Not doing very well in English so I'm hitting it hard as ever to pull my grade up and very extremely late on my project.

I hate stress and depression. Been coping with depression since a teenager.

Last month, hit me like a ton of bricks, not good. So I took the steps to seek help and very proud of myself.
One thing about seeking professional mental health either a therapist or counselors, that it works.  I do not DISS mental health professionals, I PROMOTE.  Why have things bottled up inside? You're only destroying yourself in the process.  Yes, I do believe in a higher power but didn't the higher power put those wonderful professionals on Earth to help you out?

Who wants to continue "crazy" for the rest of their lives? Push people away who love them because they are too scared to get next you much less have a general conversation without an awkward confrontation or getting knocked in the head for nothing? Staying sad, anger and bitter for the rest of your life raining misery?

Maybe you love it but I don't.  Give me singing birds, unicorns, candy canes and flowers any day!!

Anyhoo I'm going to a live band and bar downtown tomorrow night.  This should be fun, hopefully good music, company and lots of dancing. I love to dance!!

Well I have to run....
Take care as I do too!

Peace & Blessings.

Some folks can not handle rejection from the KountrySoulGirl.

It's official, moving out of the state of Texas after graduation.  I love my Texas roots and all but it seems nothing hasn't changed a bit.. Nothing at all.

Don't worry nothing doesn't get me down that much but I'm damn sure going somewhere where I'm loved and not tolerated.

Peace and Blessings! :)

Again, this town blows doggy poo!!

I forgot to upload my V-log but then again I tend to forget.......

Let's start off:

My starter ( the mechanism that turns the car on) died.

I went into a frustrated mode past week

And this town still blows....

I am in a some kind of limbo living here for the past three months.  There's nothing ABSOLUTELY not a damn thing, nada, zilch nothing.
The look of the week.

Do you know why?

  1. This is a college town, now if you think there's plenty to do there isn't.  Yeah I can find something but the interest that I'm in is lacking.
  2. Stuck in the middle of this age thing: Plenty of cute 20 somethings and over 40 something that reminds me of the boggy creek creature.  Don't get me wrong, guys in their 40's are smooookkkiiiinnn' hot, seen a couple at work. Dear Jesus, Maria and Jose that one man....like to had lost it, ignored him but checking him out, then asked me a question about paint scrapers.  I held every molecule in my body not to say "Daayyyuummm where ya been all this time?" Being around East Texas, teeth is the important thing to have when looking good. Don't get me started on plenty of eye sores witnessing for the past years.
  3. Where's the f****social life?  Driving down North St. seeing crackheads, misfits, college students all walking down the street is being social, then your dead wrong!!  I hit a couple of hang outs, coffee shops and public affairs... Lost cause.. I have to drive 30 minutes to another town, slightly bigger just to have fun?? Or go the extra mile driving an hour and twenty minutes just to have fun.
  4. There's not any like minded people out there where I can be myself and socialize.  OMIGOD! I believe they moved away in 2009.
  5. Finally, dating around here is going to Hell with ice water and expect it to stay cold.  Don't let me start (ooopppss) I bypass freaks.. Friggin BTK creepy serial killer stalking me in Hastings one night asking me "Do I go to church and would I like to come with him one day?' What are you, fuckin Mormon? Is this how you ask out your victims? Using religion as a pick up line?  No wonder, you walk slightly limpy, wear rapist glasses, breathe heavily you're a damn serial sociopathic rapist killer.  Shit, my daughter and I seen the gleam from those birth control magnets three aisle away. Dammit to shithouse fire, keep running into scary ass in different places in town.. Dude, stop following me!!

EXACTLY!
Take notes ladies, Jon is TRUTH and AVOID the 'mystery' of rapist glasses.

One a lighter note, Dad saved the day replacing the starter, working on my presentation of Yugoslavia (anyone out there who is from the former Yugoslavia please help me out) and I did save 50.00 on my car insurance and wasn't Geico.

And its time for a uproot when my daughter and I graduate.....

Well time to jet...Until next time stay safe, smart, don't bring home strays and many blessings!
