Depeche Mode rocked and Crystal Castles in my new jam!!!

The concert was wonderful. I couldn't be more pleased with the opening act and DM.  My weekend was long, exciting and tiresome.

Firsthand, driving to get to Dallas jeez! Somehow a out of nowhere hurricane (not really heavy rain with strong winds) hit the little town I was passing through to head on the interstate. Thirty plus minutes going twenty miles an hour.  After that mess, I hit 75 mph on to D-town.  We had to do some shopping first so hit good ol Town East Mall in Mesquite.  Very fond of this mall as a teen, my dad use to drive two hours for school shopping, seeing all of fights from those "city" kids over really dumb stuff.  Who takes a beef to the mall? You know security is everywhere and duh!!! The police will take you to jail.  I told my daughter about seeing two girls fighting on this very escalator heading to the second level.  Her eyes popped out and couldn't believe over 20 years ago, I still can recall the fight vividly as it still taking place of right now.

Ugh...shopping for teenagers now I see how my mother felt. She gave us each a crispy Ben Frank and let us run amok. Same with my dad but only with a credit card.

Afterwards, off to the Gexa Pavilion. Parking wasn't bad but the backflow of turning on the street to get there, dayum.  Had a few minutes to get changed.  Finally got to wear the red American Apparel dress scored for sixteen bucks and yes its extra short, open in the back. The opening act is Crystal Castles.
2 am tired there, still smiling.

To my knowledge, I had no clue until today. Like to have fell out of my chair! The song "Through the Hosiery" is a track on GTA 4. For those who do not play video games the acronym for Grand Theft Auto. I've liked that group and wanted to hear more of their music. But you know this is America, anything that's "in" or a one hit wonder is great but exploring & appreciating the artists' talent isn't important.  Music here sucks big time, glad I found that out as a teenager.  My daughter is on that wave-length also.  She's a big R&B fan and wish rap wasn't as dirty and disgusting now. I told her years ago it wasn't like that, hip-hop was fun and had a powerful message behind it. You're better off listening to classics.

Alice's hair is longer and blonde still, they're a good band.

After CC left the stage, I high tailed chugging a pint of Shiner and consuming a slice of greasy pizza. The boys came onto stage.  I boogied my arse off!
Every video that I've bought when DM goes on tour, the visuals are amazing!  One song "I Feel You" the visual is a girl dancing krunk like going off the chain with her own style.  Couldn't believe my eyes because those are some of the moves I use to do in the mirror.  Totally digged the concept because the "thought" of moving modern hip-hoppish, bit of 80's break dance moves wasn't achievable in a Depeche Mode song. Well, they nailed it and a fine job of it too.

They played "Enjoy the Silence" three song before the end.  Ha, those rascals!! Ol switch-a-roo.  Yep you can hear me singing, sounding terrible don't care either..

I have a couple of the Delta Tour video clips on my youtube. And I'm tired. I have three papers to do, one tomorrow and the others Wednesday.

Go catch the DM Delta Machine tour, nice show, lots of changes and a badass opening act to get you pumpin!

Blessings.

A college town that lacks bands... Ooooo Depeche Mode in Dallas!!!

Greetings as I type my homework at the library. Last weekend was a trip to Eureka Springs, AR to a wedding.  Labor day was Monday. Enjoyed every bit of it and worked that night.

Nope, not even close!

As you know I, KountrySoulGirl moved to another town that is an hour away from the homestead.  The transition have been a bit rough for the past three months.  A dead college town is just a regular ol' town, which been exciting to see all the "locals" here.

Omg, they're too funny.
It's like watching cartoons in live action but funnier.  Since I live five minutes outside of town in the country and its pretty normal and quiet but when I wanna shake my day up a bit, go into town.  Hilarious...

And none of these corny ass kids have not developed a band; garage POS band, no rock, alternative,  heavy metal, country, dubstep nothing.. Its like they're retardedly musically challenged. Seen over 10 guitars in a pawn shop.. Really???? And pretty cheap too!!!

I digress...

My first two weeks in this town, I was hit on by a Mexican dude in the grocery store, who stalked me about every aisle I walked. Then on to the laundrymat where this African guy was a bit toooo close for comfort sitting next to me. WOOOOO that breaf (yep I said breaf) almost killed me. So I moved very swiftly getting my clothing out the dryer and running to my car.  New job is fine!! Work in the paint dept. in a hardware store.  Lots different than working at the school & cleaning after kids.  I'm still customer service but now I get paint splattered everywhere.  Dayum so many cute guys work there and customers too!!!

LADIES, Please visit your local hardware stores!!!

pause..drool..and more drooling

I am telling you because I work there.  Too much eye candy!!!  Take a great stroll down the tool, paint and electrical.  Find a good project for the weekend.  Need a new a color on the bedroom walls? Change in cabinet holders? Hell, cheap light bulbs??  Visit your local hardware store!! :)

Depeche Mode....Eeeeekkkkkkkkkk

Counting down the days for Dave, Martin and Andy to hit Dallas this month.
Mother and daughter first concert, what better band to choose? Depeche Mode.  She actually shot down the ACL (Austin City Limits) Music Festival in October only to see Depeche Mode and to leave school early also..:)

Wow, my baby is growing up!
She going to see mom break it down in the magical elf dance..
We will have footage & pictures of the concert.

Have a great weekend

Blessings!!
